Major road delays this summer, especially to airport

Please plan ahead before you jump in the car, especially if you're driving to the airport, as an extensive program of works will be carried out across Melbourne's road network this summer.

Work crews are taking advantage of a quieter time on our roads when traffic volumes are lighter. These upgrades are crucial for supporting Melbourne's growth and improving traffic flow and safety in the long run.

On-road signage and advice about alternative routes and delays will help guide drivers through the work zones and it is important that everyone obeys signs and changes to traffic conditions.

To plan ahead, please visit VicTraffic or download the VicTraffic app (Google Play / iTunes).
