Speed limits during construction
During construction, we are varying speed limits as traffic conditions change. This helps to protect you and our workers.
The following general speed limits apply to work zones:
- during night works, between 40 km/h and 60 km/h
- all other times, 80 km/h.
These speed limits are being enforced.
Breakdown procedures during construction
If you break down:
- Pull into the left lane or an emergency bay if possible.
- Remain in your car and turn your hazard lights on. An incident response vehicle will be with you, usually in under 5 minutes.
- You can speak to the CityLink Control Room on 13 26 29, if necessary.
